shoulder that follows their lineage. For example, when mare #12 has a
foal, that foal will bear the same number 12 on its left shoulder. The
sire brand is marked on the horse's right butt, with the last two
digits of the year it was foaled on the left. The St. Clair Farms brand
is located on the left hip. |
